Forthcoming Documentary is Dedicated to ALL Katrina Survivors and Volunteers…

Close to three years of oral history and candid footage was documented by M. Darryl Woods. Half of the collection pertains to the Repopulation Era, 11.11.05 – 3.1.06, respectfully documenting this surreal period from the New Orleans 6th Ward, 7th Ward and the many volunteers points of view. We kept documenting all the way until Hurricane Gustav on 9.1.08. The first documentary film project to come from the TCP video library is currently in the early stages of development.

Our mission is to show what it was like to survive in a city that just lost 90% of its population to exile in September ’05; reflecting back on the three years that led up to Hurricane Gustav in September ’08. We want to thank film editor Brian Hollingsworth for all of his in-kind support. If you’d like to support us by making a tax deductible financial contribution, please click the donate button below; under “Programs” select “Documentary Fund.” We thank you in advance for your support.
