Forthcoming Documentary “Water Lines” is Dedicated to ALL Katrina Survivors and Volunteers…
Close to three years of oral history and candid footage was documented by Michael Woods. Half of the collection pertains to the Repopulation Era, 11.11.05 – 3.1.06, respectfully documenting this surreal period from the New Orleans 7th Ward and the many volunteers points of view. We kept documenting all the way until Hurricane Gustav on 9.1.08. The first documentary film project to come from the TCP video library will be called “Water Lines”. Our mission is to show what it was like to survive in a city that just lost 90% of its population to exile, reflecting back on the three years that led up to Hurricane Gustav.
