Contraflow Inc. was organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. Contraflow Inc.’s mission includes, but is not limited to, researching the effects of Hurricane Katrina on responders, volunteers and survivors; cataloging our past four years of research files, media and material; publishing research findings; producing documentary films from over 13,000 minutes of footage shot during the aftermath between Hurricanes Katrina and Gustav; developing curriculum; building a research website for those interested in learning more about Katrina; and helping establish a Katrina Responder Appreciation Day.
